Delta: Navy Sets Illegally Refined Products Ablaze

Barely   six   days  after   men of the Nigerian Navy Delta sate command  destroyed fifty three illegal refineries and fifty metric tons of substance suspected to be crude oil at Asafama  community in
Warri South West local government area of Delta state.

The   Navy   has   again set ablaze wooden  boats  filled with  over two hundred thousand liters of illegally refined crude oil  at Gbekebor community in Warri South West local government area of the
state.

Speaking with our correspondent Dele  Fasan the commander Delta Navy command Captain Musa  Gemu  warned oil thieves to go back to their legitimate business.

Captain Gemu stated that the Navy will not be fooled, that though the number of illegal refineries decreases, they will continue to patrol deep into the creek and destroy any refinery discovered.
                                             
Meanwhile, in the last count, over one million liters of  substance suspected to be crude oil and illegally  refined  diesel   which has robbed the economy of billions of Naira has  been destroyed  by the Navy.
