Ivanka Trump welcomes Chibok girls at the White House

Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump has acknowledged how please she is, to have welcomed the incredible young women from Chibok to the White House.


Ivanka took to her Instagram page to celebrate her meeting with the two Chibok girls, Joy and Lydia who escaped from terrorist group, Boko Haram. 

With pictures she wrote: "Honored to have welcomed Joy and Lydia, two incredible young women from Chibok, Nigeria to the White House last week."

She shared her excitement about the Chibok girls bravery; she wrote: "They shared with me their remarkable journey in overcoming tremendous adversity, and I am in awe of their courage and heart."

Ivanka added: "I look forward to watching them flourish as they begin a new chapter at Southeastern University this fall. Joy and Lydia, I am so proud of you both! Thank you for inspiring us with your story."

The two Chibok girls not only met with Trump's daughter, they also had the privilege to meet with US President, Donald Trump.
