Nigeria Youths Urged To Embrace Enterpreneurship Education

The Minister of Education, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau gave the advice today at the 2014 National Entrepreneurship Week Stakeholders' Forum in Abuja.

He said that Federal Government is committed to change the psyche and culture of the Nigerian graduates from that of a job seeker to an employer of labour.

Speaking to journalists at the event, the Vice Chancellor, Kaduna State University, Prof. William Barnabas explained that the Network for African Student Entrepreneurs (NASE) is a programme initiated by the school to create future entrepreneurs and reduce poverty in the continent.

The Director General, National Directorate of Employment(NDE) Alhaji Abubakar Mohammed however applauded the initiative, adding that it would assist the nation to achieve sustainable economic growth and development.
