President Buhari Ends Visit To USA, Leaves For Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari has concluded his four-day state visit to the United States on the invitation of President Barrack Obama on July 22, Wednesday.

Buhari rounded-off the visit on Wednesday after an earlier meeting with representatives of the United States Institute of Peace, Center for Strategic and International Studies, Atlantic Council, National Democratic Institute, International Republican Institute and International Foundation of Electoral System.

On Monday, President Buhari held talks with President Barack Obama on terrorism and further plans to foster greater economic ties between both nations among other issues discussed.

President Buhari alsol met with Nigerians in the Diaspora in the United States and assured them that his administration would remain committed to ending the activities of the Boko Haram terrorists in the north east.

The president is expected to arrive the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja on Thursday at 5:30pm.
