Oyo state government has proscribed the activities of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) across the state

 Recall that some members of the union yesterday wreaked havoc at some motor parks in Ibadan during which some of the hoodlums were arrested.

Speaking with Journalists, the chief of staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, Bisi Ilaka says the decision is part of the measures to ensure peace and stability in the state.

He added that all activities of the unions henceforth remain illegal and urged the people of the state to go about their lawful business adding combined security task force have been charged to take control and maintain peace and order.
