Court adjourns Agunloye case till February 26th.

A Federal High Sitting in APO, Abuja, has adjourned to 26 February further hearing on the on seven counts bordering on fraudulent award of a contract and official corruption against the former Minister of Power and Steel, Olu Agunloye.

Justice Jude Onwuegbuzie, while granting the bail application put forward by Agunloye at the last adjourned date, had shift the matter till February 12, 2024 for continuation of hearing.

Galaxy tv news reports that matter was adjourned till February 26th baser on the position of the court that the case is not ripe for hearing.

Recall that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is investigating Agunloye over the $6 billion Mambilla Hydropower Contract.
