The Delta state government have donated food items and toiletries to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) at the Otu-Jeremi community Internally Displaced Persons Camp, in Ughelli South local government area of Delta state.

This is coming as displaced persons continue to lament over what they described as the bad state of the camp where children sleep on bare floor.

Speaking on the donation, the special adviser to the Delta state governor on domestic affairs said the governor will look into their challenges.

Also speaking, the displaced persons lament over the state of the camp which they say has affected their children.

The representative of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) could not respond to the allegation of the poor state of the camp.
