DPR seals four filling stations in Ekiti

The long arm of the law on Wednesday, January 3, caught up with some fuel markets in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.


This is as Nigerians continue to groan and fuel scarcity continue to bite harder with the price of the product reported to have gone up as high as two hundred naira in some filling stations in Ado Ekiti,

The department of Petroleum Resources on Routine check across Ekiti state capital sealed not less than four filing stations in the state for selling fuel above the federal government’s approved price of one hundred and forty five naira.

Onamji Anthony who led the operation said the department of petroleum resources is determined to enforce the pump price approved by the federal government.

He assured resident that the operation will be a continuous exercise as erring filling stations in the state will be adequately dealt with.
