The trial of EndSARS protester, Eromosele Adene at the chief magistrate court Yaba, on Dec. 7th 2020 has again been adjourned till Jan 11, 2021, for mention.

Adene had been accused by the police of criminal incitement, cyberstalking, provoking a breach of public peace, and conduct likely to cause the breach of public peace.

On Nov. 17, the court ruled against the police and granted bail to #EndSARS protester, Eromosele Adene in the sum of one million Naira.

Despite meeting all bail requirements, new charges were raised against him by the police and he is to enjoy his liberty till Jan. 11, 2020, when the case would be brought before the court for mention.

Due to requirements from the court, Eromosele was not allowed to speak to the press. His father on the other hand was grateful for the journey so far.

Though there were rumours of Endsars protests resurfacing in Lagos, Galaxy’s Rita Omodia reports that while on tour at Ikeja, Gani Fawehinmi Park and environs, there was no sign of protests. At sight, were pockets of policemen stationed to disperse intending protesters.
