NSCDC assure maximum security

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) says it is making a major headway in its civic responsibility of securing property and lives of members of the society especially in the northeast.


This, according to controller general of NSCDC, Abdullahi Gana Mohammadu is the cardinal point of the civil defense corps.

He made this assertion at the NSCDC headquarters in Maiduguri, Borno state capital.
The commandant general who says the civil security corps is more involved in intelligence and civil relations amongst the citizenry and sister security agencies, stated also that the secury corps has perfected plans to integrate members of the civilian JTF into the security outfit 
 
Also, the CG said the NSCDC is not just involved in intelligence gathering, but secures other government establishments and installations across the states of the federation.
 
In his presentations, the commandant, Borno state security and civil defense corps, Ibrahim Abdullahi, disclosed that the Borno state command of the corps has recorded more successes in recent times than before, with particular reference to civil relations, theft, bunkering and other societal deficiencies. He said in 2018 alone, the command has recovered about twenty-four million naira from defaulters. Recently they intercepted and arrested oil thieves in the chad basin even as countless boko haram fighters have either been arrested or have surrendered to the security corps.
