Ogun Police Seeks Traditional Medicine Operators Support in Curbing Crime

Police in Ogun state is calling for the unalloyed support of traditional medicine operators towards nipping in the bud nefarious crimes such as money rituals and other social vices in its bid to have a safer society devoid of crime and criminality.

Commissioner of Police in the State, Edward Ajogun made this known at a one day workshop organized for traditional medicine operators at the Police headquarters, Eleweran, Ogun State.

Represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of criminal investigation department, Wale Abbas, he called on traditional medicine operators to discourage people who seek their help for dangerous assistance capable of threatening the peace of the society.

He noted that traditional medicine operators play an integral role in the actualization of community policing policy; hence the need to offer the necessary support to police authority in the state.

In affirmation, the traditional medicine operators pledged to support the police command in the actualization of a safer state.
