Wike  issues ultimatum to roadside artisans

Rivers state Governor Nyesom Wike has given roadside mechanics, traders and street traders a month ultimatum to vacate the streets of Port-Harcourt.


The Governor made this known while addressing them at the Government house in Port-Harcourt.

Speaking at the gathering, Governor Wike said the state government will not allow illegal parks along the road.

He stressed on the consequence if they fail to comply as the state police commissioner spoke on the ultimatum.

Meanwhile, the representatives from different groups requested for a separate time frame to vacate the roads which was turned down by the Governor.
