The Nigerian Governor’s Forum (NGF) is set to launch a two year strategic plan to aid collaboration on issues of governance among the state governments.

Chairman of the forum and Zamfara state governor, Abdulaziz Yari made the disclosure at the Wednesday’s meeting of the forum held at the presidential villa Abuja.

He said the strategic plan which will cater for the 2017/ 2019 year is aimed at engendering exchange of good governance strategies and values among states.

The governor told state house correspondents that the meeting also reviewed the spread of meningitis across the country saying the minister of health would come with detailed report on how far the country has gone in reducing spread of the disease.

Governor Yari also gave highlights on the litigation of governors over the Paris club refunds.

The forum is expected to make more presentation at the national economic council meeting scheduled for Thursday, April 27, 2017.
