Bafana Bafana to face Guinea-Bissau, Angola in friendlies

Super Eagles' first opponents in the 2019 AFCON qualifiers, Bafana Bafana of South Africa, will face Guinea-Bissau and Angola in a double-header international friendly matches.


 

The two friendly games are part of Bafana's preparation ahead of June's 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Nigeria in Uyo in June. According to the South African Football Association on their official website, Bafana will play Guinea-Bissau on Saturday, 25 March 2017 at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

On Tuesday, 28 March 2017, they will confront Angola at the Buffalo City Stadium (formerly known as ABSA Stadium) in East London.

Bafana  travelled to Durban on Monday morning to start preparations for the two matches.Stand-in coach, Owen da Gama, has called up 25 players for the fixtures.
